Jeremy Singer-Vine is a data editor, reporter, and computer programmer. In addition to his work with Digital Witness Lab, he oversees the Data Liberation Project, an initiative that seeks to identify, acquire, reformat, clean, document, publish, and disseminate government datasets of public interest.
He also publishes Data Is Plural, a weekly newsletter that highlights useful and intriguing datasets, creates open-source software, and develops training materials.
From 2014 to early 2022, he was the data editor for BuzzFeed News. Prior to that, he worked at The Wall Street Journal and Slate Magazine.
